Research Opportunities
As an integral component of the University community, the Orfalea Family
Children’s Center has been the site of many on-going learning and research
opportunities. Students from the Departments of Education and Psychology have
used this site to conduct observations, interviews and experiments to further
their research. Research projects are considered on a case by case basis and
may require a meeting with a program coordinator, a complete write up of the
proposed activity, and individual permission slips to be sign by each family.
It will be the responsibility of the researcher to fit the activity into the
child’s existing routine.
If you are interested in learning more about research opportunities at the
Children’s Center, please contact the Program Coordinators at (805) 893-4904.
